Construction Site of the Future: Progress Is Being Made—Despite the Monsoon and the Heat!
Preparing a building in India to accommodate so many children presents very special challenges. But thanks to local volunteers and tireless effort, we’re making progress step by step. Here’s what we’ve already accomplished inside and around the building:
~ Weather Protection: The roof and exterior walls have been weatherproofed to withstand the heavy monsoon rains.
~ First Safe Rooms: The future dormitories and dining area have been repaired and freshly painted.
~ Running Water: The plumbing and water supply systems have been thoroughly repaired.
