As the founder of the Helping Hands Foundation, absolute transparency and compliance with the law are my top priorities. I would like to share an important legal update with our international community regarding financial donations: Our NGO is currently in the official application process for an FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) license. Under Indian law, without this registration, an organization may only accept local donations within India and may not receive foreign funds. To ensure full compliance with legal requirements, we are currently not accepting any international financial contributions. Behind the scenes, we are working diligently to complete this process. In the meantime, we are incredibly grateful for the non-financial support, advice, and advocacy work provided by our international partners, such as our supporter InKi4Help e.V. in Germany.
